The Centre of Continuing Education in Gdańsk and the project partners from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia are going
to organize an international seminar for educational staff, titled "How to teach to live together?".
The seminar will be held in Gdańsk, Poland in the Centre of Continuing Education from 6 June to 8 June, 2013.
The main aims are:
- To study and popularize the theme related to the process of European integration and its impact on the Visegrad countries.
- To provide teachers with essential and methodological knowledge, skills as well as innovative didactic materials for use in the classroom in order to popularize the culture of our region and form Central European identity of students.
Target groups of the seminar are:
- educational staff: teachers and directors of all levels of schools , educators and trainers working with adult learners, methodological advisors and teachers consultants working in the field of in-service teacher training, academic staff interested in the topic;
- representatives of local educational authorities.
An interdisciplinary overview of the region and its conceptualization will be introduced during lectures. Apart from that workshops for teachers will be held which will give the possibility to learn about the practical methods how to teach about European integration process.
The seminar is partly funded by the the International Visegrad Fund.
